What is the HPCUG?
Now in its 15th year, the High
Performance Computing User
Group is a non-profit
organization made up of member
organizations that support
Hewlett-Packard platforms. To
learn more, check out the HPCUG
overview.
Who should attend HPCUG 2000?
All individuals who work with HP's High-Performance
Servers (like V-Class, N-Class, K-Class, J-Class, L-Class,
S-Class, X-Class, etc.)
in Industry, Research Institutions and
Government Organizations as
- IT Managers responsible for planning HP server environments
- System Managers responsible for all
operational aspects of HP's servers
- End Users using applications (3rd party packages or own code)
- Software Developers with a special focus on performance
and parallelization
The HPCUG 2000 has a special focus
on technical and scientific computing
but also covers a lot of subjects which are of interest in
high-performance commercial computing -
especially future directions in
processor-, system- and interconnect-architectures
