History
Now in its 16th year, the High Performance Computing User
Group (HPCUG), is a non-profit organization made up of
member organizations that support Hewlett-Packard platforms.
This group is dedicated to bringing together users of
Hewlett-Packard's technical computer systems in order to share
experiences and find common solutions.
Incorporating the former Convex User Group, HPCUG was originally
chartered for the developing supercomputing environment in
the mid-80's. It has since evolved and consists of users
of today's HP 9000 Servers and the former S- and X-Class Systems.
Membership
Composed of IT managers, system administrators,
scientists, engineers, and programmers
from more than 40 countries, the group is
self-governed by a board of directors drawn and nominated by
the user community.

 |
Membership in the group is free.
Members in the group share information about the use of
Hewlett-Packard platforms in settings ranging from industrial
and government installations to university and research sites.
|
Visitors who wish to attend the conference may do so, but
must be sponsored by a current HPCUG member and approved
by the HPCUG Board of Directors.
If you want to learn more about scalable parallel computer
systems, the HPCUG will put you in contact with people
experiencing similar computing demands and keep you a step
ahead in today's highly aggressive technical computer
environment. Explore computer technology beyond the state of
the art and find answers to the challenges we all face in the
competitive computer industry.
