| This paper summarizes recent activities at Institute of
Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in developing
superservers for cluster and grid computing. We first identify market and
technical trends observed from a Chinese perspective. Then we describe the
research work in developing the Dawning series high performance computers
and the China computational grid. We also highlight some on-going research
work in developing grid-oriented superserver systems. |
