The 288 core Hewlett Packard SL250 Gen8 cluster provides computing capabilities configured to meet the diverse needs of simulation and data analysis applications for cellular biology. Such applications include software for 3D stochastic simulation of protein signaling at neural synapses (Kennedy Lab), 2D and 3D image segmentation (Jensen Lab), 3D simulation of plant development (Meyerowitz lab), and signal processing for high throughput genomic data (Wold Lab).
