CACR systems staff act as Computational Science Consultants to research groups across campus, with collaborations ranging from assessment of the computational needs of the research to providing expertise in code optimization, benchmarking, and hardware selection. CACR also operates advanced computational resources for many Caltech research groups, providing support for networking, storage, and visualization facilities.
