ACM/CS114: Parallel Algorithms for Scientific Applications

CACR welcomes student users from Caltech’s Applied & Computational Mathematics/Computer Science course ACM/CS114, “Parallel Algorithms for Scientific Applications”. ACM114 is an introduction to parallel program design for numerically intensive scientific applications. Topics to be covered include parallel programming methods, and parallel numerical algorithms, performance measurement, scaling and parallel efficiency. ACM114 is being taught by CACR Principal Computational Scientist Michael Aivazis. The course website is at http://acm114.caltech.edu.
