Purpose of the meeting
1) Explain DANSE -- Distributed Data Analysis Architecture for Neutron Scattering Experiments. Discussion of architecture, project, scope, effort)
2) Discuss roles and stakes for facilities, Caltech, users. Management. Next steps.
The morning will include presentations by Fultz and Aivazis,
and a
demonstration of a distributed software architecture.
The remainder of the morning and the
afternoon will be an open discussion about software architecture,
science, and organization.
