Please note: This documentation is very dated and should be treated as an old draft. Among the major updates as of 8/2005 are a jump from version .6 to .8, the renaming of staging to launcher.

CPT

CPT provides fast level set generation.

ELC

ELC implements point-to-point communication in the Eulerian-Lagrangian coupling of a solid and fluid solver with the ghost fluid method.

HDF5

HDF5 is a general purpose library and file format for storing scientific data. HDF5 can store two primary objects: datasets and groups. A dataset is essentially a multidimensional array of data elements, and a group is a structure for organizing objects in an HDF5 file. Using these two basic objects, one can create and store almost any kind of scientific data structure, such as images, arrays of vectors, and structured and unstructured grids.

Plexus

Plexus is a package that provides single point access to atmospheric and celestial optical background codes developed by the Air Force Research Laboratory, Space Vehicles Directorate (AFRL/VSSS) to predict and assess the impact of radiance backgrounds on electro-optic (E-O) systems. In addition to integrating a suite of optical backgorund codes into a single software, PLEXUS contains an embedded expert system to facilitate code applications by non-expert users. The PLEXUS software consists of a code element-based architecture and a GUI for accessing the FORTRAN coded atmospheric and celestial background models. Due to its high degree of user-friendliness and ease of application, PLEXUS has been widely adapted as one of the standard design tools for E-O sensors.

Pulse

Pulse is a trivial Eulerian solver.

Rigid

Rigid is a Lagrangian solver.
