About This Document

This document is organized into three parts. Part I consists of traditional book frontmatter, including this preface. Part II begins with an introduction to Pyre and its capabilities and proceeds to the details of implementing Pyre. Part III provides appendices, references, a bibliography, a glossary and an index.

The style of this publication is based on the Apple Publications Style Guide, as recommended by Python.org.

The documentation is being produced using DocBook to facilitate the transformation of documentats from one format to another.
