Title: SKUA: a distributed semantic store

Abstract: SKUA (Semantic Knowledge Underpinning Astronomy) is a distributed infrastructure for storing and sharing RDF triples, in order to support semantic applications, with some lightweight astronomical knowledge built in. Applications are being developed, including Spacebook, intended to support astronomical social networking, and a suggestions server, supporting semantic search by suggesting (IVOA Registry?) resources which are `like' a given resource.
